ME

Hello everyone!!

I guess now that I have finished making my list and I have started working on a few things I should make a proper introduction. My name is Chelsey. I am married to the most wonderful man, my best friend, the LOVE of my life, Josh!! We don’t have any kids but we do have a beautiful chocolate lab named Molly. July 21, 2007 we were married in the most beautiful wedding
and since then we bought a house, completed landscaping,

gone on a few wonderful holidays and got our “little stinker” Molly.

So much can happen in such a short amount of time. TWO YEARS!! Wow. This blog will serve as a way for me to document our lives for our family and friends. It will also allow me to get what is in my head out and to allow one more avenue for my creative juices to flow through.

It seems that in our world today people get caught up only in things that affect them and give no thought to what is going on around them. Sometimes this is simply because everyone is so busy, other times it is because people have become set in their ways, afraid of change and of too much human contact. I think it is so important to be connected to people, whether those people are your immediate family, your extended family, your friends or strangers. I want to be connected!

Have a wonderful day!!

101 Things in 1001 Days

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days. http://www.dayzeroproject.com/

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

The items on my list that require a little more info or that inculde a list of things will have a link next to them. Also, when I finish an item I will blog about it and create a link in the original 101 list.

My start date: July 21, 2009 (My 2nd Wedding Anniversary!)
My end date: April 17, 2012

The Beginning

Well here I am! This all got started by my finding www.dayzeroproject.com and deciding that I should give it a try. We need to find some direction in our lives and we want to actually accomplish some things. I also thought that we have so many family members who are not in close proximity to us and this could be a way for us to keep them updated. Family is important to us and we want to be able to share all of our moments with them. I'm going to try to update our blog at least once every two weeks. So here goes...............

Days until the end of my 101 things in 1001 days!
