So I know it has been a while since I updated my blog (SHAME) but we've been really busy. I've been able to cross a few things off of my list. We just got back from visiting Josh's grandparents in Victoria, BC. While we were there we also visited my Aunt and Uncle. We had a great vacation, camped the whole time! We are just about completely sick of camping now, 7 nights of camping in cooler weather (it got down to 8 or 10 degrees some nights) really knocks you out. We saw more of the island than we have before, went walking in places I didn't know existed and drove up island to see a couple of the small towns, very cute! I will put up some pictures when they have been uploaded to our computer. While we were out west we also spent a day in Vancouver. We went back to Stanley Park, which is where Josh proposed to me more than 3 years ago. Can't believe it's been that long. It was nice to go back and it's nice that it's a place that we can afford to go back to!
Before we went to BC we went out on a date to the Galt Museum to see the High Level Bridge exhibit because the bridge is 100 years old this year. It was nice to do something different than going to the movies or having drinks, and I can cross going to a museum off of my list!
I'm hoping that there is still a little bit of nice weather left this year, we didn't really have much of a summer and I'm still craving some warm weather. But I am looking forward to Christmas time this year because then Jocelyn will be home from school for a month, miss her so much! (Love you Joss)
Progress report on the garage is this: The drywall, taping and mudding is almost done, then we are going to paint the walls and the floor. Once painting is done we can put up shelving for all our junk err I mean 'nice things' that are cluttering up our basement and my scrapbooking space.
Well that is it for now. Hopefully it won't be so long before I update again.
