It has seriously been 2 and a half years in the making….the day when the garage will finally be done. IT IS SOOOOO CLOSE…I can taste it.
This is where we are at: the walls have been painted, the ceiling has been textured, the lights are all up and working, all the plugs and switches are wired, the garage door opener is installed and working, most of the shelves are up, peg board has been installed and a track system for all our cords, hoses and accessories is up and working. The only real major things left to do is paint the floor, install the rubber baseboards and move in all our things. YEAH I can hardly wait!!!
I also finished another layout in the past week. Our first anniversary which was almost 2 years ago. We had a fabulous time in Radium and at the hot springs. I would love to go again someday.
(totally could not get this picture to insert the right way, oh well this will have to do)
Journalling says: For our 1st anniversary we decided we needed to get away. Neither of us had been to a hot spring since we were children so we thought it would be fun to drive into the mountains and soak our cares away! We decided upon Radium Hot Spring just inside of Kootenay National Park in BC. On our actual anniversary we took a long drive through Kootenay National Park and stopped at all the roadside lookouts, rivers and lakes. Such stunning beauty! Later that evening we went for dinner and then to the hot springs. We had so much fun, so nice to relax and we got lots of cute pictures using our underwater camera case. We had a wonderful first anniversary! We can't wait to celebrate lots more wedding anniversaries in the future!
I was really wanting to use the kraft paper that I had in my stash and I thought that because all the pictures were outdoor pictures it would work really well together. Oh and I love this green patterned paper that I used! I just love all those colors you can find in nature. Just makes everything so fresh! Thanks for looking!
